About Me

Hello, my name is Luna and welcome to my carrd! As of 2024, I've been drawing for about 8 years and I'm still looking for ways to improve my art since my progress has been hindered due to classes and life taking up a lot of my time and energy.I'm a digital artist hobbyist that mostly draws my original characters, majority of them being animals. I grew up with Warrior Cats books and I have watched WC animators on Youtube to this day despite not reading them for a few years. I hope to learn how to animate as skillfully as some of them in the future. On my free time, I either draw, read, or rp in some groups/campaigns. You'll be able to see all of my past artwork on DeviantArt. As of right now I haven't posted any new artwork anywhere since DA has aligned themselves with working with AI. Twitter looked like the next option for me, but Musk has interest in AI so I don't have faith for that website lasting in the long-term and it's algorithm being against artists. Also just a lot of negative people there that I don't want that to be my main posting site.Current plan is to use Nightshade and Glaze to protect my art before posting them, but that process took a long time to do with the test I did for one artwork earlier this year. I was only able to it with Nightshade before Glaze's window being to big to fit on the laptop's screen. Maybe they fixed it since then.Unsure if I would be posting them directly, unprotected on my Ko-fi as of right now or if I should do still do the Nightshade + Glaze plan. Haven't looked at Ko-fi's thoughts/plan about AI.

Art above was a collab with LightsResonance who did the colors and rendering.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

>> What art programs do you use?
As of right now, I mostly use Clip Studio Paint Pro, but sometimes use Kirta depending on things.
My first art program was Paint Tool Sai and then I used an app called Sketchbook on a tablet after the old family computer broke back around 2018.>> What device do you use?
I use a Wacom Intuos tablet.
>> What brushes do you use?
For CSP, I mostly use the G-Pen or the chalk (pastel) brush.
For Kitra, Ink-3 G-Pen or Ink-7 G-Pen.Feel free to ask me about brushes you've seen me use that aren't G-pen looking. I'll see if I can remember.>> Do you do art trades?
The few art trades I've done have been between friends or fellow members in a group/server so mostly likely no if you're coming out of nowhere. Feel free to ask though!
>> Where can I commission you?
Most commission related questions can be answered though my commission carrd.
>> Why did you stop posting speedpaints?
The family computer broke a few years ago and for about a year so I just had a old tablet to draw on. Didn't look for a recording and editing apps during that time, but I don't think that tablet would have done well with it with how old it was for even back then.
We have a new computer now, but I haven't looked too hard for an editing software. I would like to post speedpaint videos again, but college has been taking up my time, and I've been wanting to just post a few speedpaints for art pieces that aren't just a full-body on a transparent background and doing it for every artwork I do. (Not sure why younger me thought that was a good idea.)
